我要吃瓜 me

I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2015 and joined the 我要吃瓜 as a Lecturer in Health Sciences in 2023. I currently split my time between lecturing, research and practicing Physiotherapy privately. I feel fortunate to maintain face-to-face interactions with patients, whilst being able to research new ways to improve people's lives and to share my knowledge and experience in a higher education setting.

I currently teach on the undergraduate Nursing programmes (Mental Health and Adult) and the Paramedic Science programme, and have roles in other post-graduate course too. I also teach on the new MSc Physiotherapy (pre-registration) programme starting in September 2025, which runs in partnership with the MSc Podiatry and Master of Public Health programme.

My current area of research is exploring effective ways to break up sitting time across the lifespan. My research interests also include determining the effectiveness of preoperative Physiotherapy programmes and many other areas of Physiotherapy research.
